DAY 5: ANNUAL OSOGBO CITY MEGA RALLY 2023
Gradually the 2023 edition of the annual GOFGEM rally is winding up but not without significant signs and points of future reference.
Sometimes in life, we can’t always have control over those who we have around us like our friends, co-workers, family members, etc.
Sometimes in life, we can’t always have control over those who we have around us like our friends, co-workers, family members, etc. We necessarily don’t have to be unruly or rude to these people who are not good to be around because dealing with these category of people can be very difficult, especially when there's no other choice but to be around them often for several hours or perhaps throughout the week or even for life.
The
Bible encourages us to live peaceably with everyone, as much as we can
control but also specifically warns about letting in bad influences
which would ultimately affect us negatively. However, when stuck in such
situations, it takes God’s wisdom to navigate around such unhealthy
influences recalling the cases of Eve to Adam, Saul to David and
Joseph's brothers.
This was the message of
Evangelist Peter Kolajo (Omo-Jesu) during the ongoing 4days special
revival tagged "GOD, ASSIGN GOOD PEOPLE UNTO ME". He further prayed that
God should assign destiny helpers to everyone and violently remove
those who will attempt to hinder or truncate God's plan and purpose in
our lives.

God of Fire: His Mind on Leadership Positions in Nigeria
Nigeria is a nation of highly religious people who
strongly believe in the supremacy of God over all things temporal and
spiritual. Of recent, events in the country are casting aspersions on
our common heritage and value of God as a people. The ascendance of
insecurity and unrestrained violence in diverse forms like religious
fanaticism, kidnapping, ethnic intolerance, local and external
terrorism; and in great magnitudes in recorded casualties and fatalities
has negatively impacted on the people's emotional well-being,
rationality, and by extension our trust, hope and faith in the Lord.
The
recurring factor for such a national chaos is leadership deficiency
where mean, parochial, selfish and ill-bred politicians in military and
civilian garbs dominate and control the national resources which are
used for all purposes except public good. This has bred public distrust
in leadership, exacerbate conflicts of interests across social fault
lines, and thereby tearing down the national fabric of tolerance of
contrary opinions, rights and privileges of other people living in an
heterogeneous society like ours. As an illustration, let's consider the
choice of David as a King in Israel, personal attributes such as
courage, pro-social inclinations, reverence to God etc. influenced his
choice over others including his siblings. His choice for leadership
position was not by hereditary, democratic or primordial factors. In
other words, God puts premium on good characters for leadership
positions; unlike in our society where charlatans, persons of
questionable integrity aspire for and ascend leadership positions in
public and private domains.
In
a nutshell, to achieve greatness and prominence in the comity of
nations, Nigeria does not deserve unpatriotic, impudent, incompetent,
selfish, ethnic hegemonic, and devilish set of people for leadership
positions as obtained presently. Rather visionary and competent persons
who fear God, passionate for public good, committed to changing negative
narratives about the country and its citizens, adherents to the rules
of law, deficient in religious bigotry and ethnic supremacy, and most
importantly chosen by the unction of God are required to steer the
national affairs of Nigeria to greater heights.
Civil
leadership recruitment in Nigeria tended to follow the common principle
of democracy which presupposes that "majority has its way and minority
has its say" as practised in major countries of the World. In its trail,
bitter acrimonies always ensue on the fairness of such process, and the
fitness of candidates recruited via such process. In short, recruited
leaders seldom meet the expectations of the people in the long run. Why?
People's choices of leaders are most often not God's choices for
leadership positions for them.
In
conclusions, mediocrity, lawlessness and sins can never exalt a nation
in concrete terms unless righteousness and fear of God prevail. This is
lent credence in Psalm 127:1 which says "Except the Lord builds a house,
they labor in vain that build it, except the Lord keeps a city, the
watchmen wake up in vain". Nigerians need to allow God to choose leaders
for them through the unction of the Holy Spirit. How to go about
achieving this goal is left in the Hands of the Lord for guidance.
GOFGEM WORKERS @ APOSTLE AYO BABALOLA'S MOUNTAIN,IKOYI, OSUN STATE.
Since
the establishment of God of Fire Global Evangelical Ministry, the
statement of Jesus Christ in reference to a good shepherd laying his
life down for the sheep has been the norm between Evangelist Peter
Kolajo and the entire congregation.
It
was once again the turn of the entire work force of the Ministry to
benefit from the selflessness of the Son of Jesus as all were led to
Apostle Ayo Babalola's mountain Ikoyi, Osun State on Sunday 29th
January, 2023 which buttresses an intelligent statement which says...
_"_True leadership lies in guiding others to success, in ensuring that
everyone is performing at their best....."_.
The
spiritual connection between Ayo Babalola and Peter Kolajo was
conspicuously displayed when all the natural forces of nature showed up
to pay obeisance to the Covenant holder of this generation.
Firstly,
Evangelist Peter Kolajo took time to appreciate the efforts of the
workers of the Ministry from past to present, he encouraged them to
strive more and to continue without fear, intimidation or weariness. He
further took time to bless and pray for all incumbent workers not
omitting those of the future till the end of the universe.
While
this was ongoing, mother nature showed up to acknowledge the presence
of the Son of Jesus as it suddenly became very windy, cloudy and the
first rainstorm of the New Year in Ikoyi town started with great
thunderings and lightning drenching everyone present.
Noteworthy
also was the appearance of the Sun with rings of rainbow around it just
after the heavy downpour thus completing the sequence of the elements
of nature.
God of Fire is worthy to be praised.

APOSTOLIC VISITATION TO THE IKOGOSI WARM - COLD WATER SPRING RESORT, IKOGOSI-EKITI, EKITI STATE
The Abuja season of Freedom Prayers ended on Sunday and
enroute Osun state on Monday, there was a divinely orchestrated stop
over at the Warm-Cold water spring resort located in IKOGOSI-EKITI by
Evangelist Peter Kolajo and his entourage.
Warmly
welcomed by Mrs Akolade (the resort tour guide), she explained many
notable miraculous things about the springs which includes;
I)
the Warm-Cold water Springs were discovered 700 years ago by an HUNTER
who came hunting in the area (surprisingly, Evangelist Peter Kolajo also
comes from the lineage of Hunters as his biological father was the Head
of Hunters in Ifon Osun during his lifetime)
II) the source of both warm and cold water springs erupted from two different and distant rock points,
III)
the Hot water has 7 sub-tributaries which combine at 2 main tributaries
to become warm water before flowing to the point of meeting with the
cold,
IV) the cold water springs has 2 main
tributaries from it's source which flows down to the point of meeting
with the warm spring, 
V) both the warm and cold
water springs NEVER mix up at the point of meeting but go along side by
side until it gets to a major stream downhill as it mixes to become
lukewarm by touch AND
VI) the warm-cold water springs has NEVER DRIED up for once since it's discovery till date.
At
the source of the Warm springs, the Covenant-holder, Evangelist Kolajo,
filled with the Power and Authority of God Almighty emphatically
declared the take over of Nigeria, Africa and the whole World by God of
Fire. He prayed for the freedom of the beloved of God all across the
globe, rebuking every power of the devil, sickness, misery, barrenness
and afflictions, idols, idol worship and every veil of darkness.
The
Covenant-holder spiritually declared the total withdrawal of wicked,
deceitful, ungodly individuals from governmental positions and positions
of high echelon and their automatic replacement with truthful, God
fearing individuals who will liberate the masses and be accountable to
God and Men in all spheres.
Finally, members of
staff at the Resort after confirming that this experience was the first
ever and very special to them, made use of the opportunity to get
blessed and prayed for by God of Fire through Evangelist Kolajo.

The Supernatural mandate of God's intervention concerning the affairs of
Nigeria handed over to Evangelist Peter Kolajo (Omo-Jesu) many years
ago as NIGERIA NATIONAL DELIVERANCE has in recent times
metamorphosed into FREEDOM OF NIGERIA. The concept of
this Freedom was birthed with the unequivocal assurance that God of Fire
has completely taken over the reins of power from the highest
governmental echelon to the lowest in Nigeria, Africa and the entire
World.
In line with this, the Abuja prayers on the
Second day at the City gate were poised towards the prophetic
establishment of God's kingdom over the lives of the masses and the
beloved globally. Evangelist Kolajo further took time out to bless

The 63rd Year Remembrance of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola
In memory of the indelible and impactful evangelical works of the
last Covenant Holder, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola particularly in
Nigeria, special activities to mark the 63rd year celebration of his
death were organized by the Christ Apostolic Church in conjunction with
the God of Fire Global Evangelical Ministry at his birth place in
Ikotun-Ile, Odo-Owa town, Kwara State on Saturday 30th April 2022.
Odo-Owa town was filled with people who eagerly awaited the ministration of the Guest Speaker
in
the person of the present Covenant Holder, Evangelist Peter Kolajo. The
theme of his ministration centred on "How God sent Apostle Ayo Babalola
to preach the gospel and to call for repentance of souls".
In
his sermon, Evangelist Peter Kolajo emphasized on how Apostle Ayo
Babalola, the great Revivalist and Healer preached the Word of God, and
also raised the dead and healed the sick people with water, but yet he
never used the glory of his time. He spoke on how the Apostle died
uncelebrated at his birth place, and buried in a strange land at Efon
Alaaye, Ekiti State; and also on the poor state of infrastructure in the
town.
Evangelist Peter Kolajo used various
examples in the Holy Bible to emphasize that the name of Jesus Christ
alone is capable of saving mankind from the strangleholds of satan.
Anointing water cannot save anyone as it never saved Apostle Babalola
from death, likewise anointing oil, spiritual incenses, bathing inside
rivers cannot save. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He
is the only Pathway to overcome every challenge in life.
Lastly,
the cleric prayed for the deliverance of the town and its inhabitants
from age-long woes and curses, and also led the congregants through
prayers to overcome satanic attacks, and also recover their lost
glories.

THE JUBILATION MARCH @ ODO-OWA, KWARA STATE.
In celebration of the 63rd Year Remembrance of Apostle Joseph
Ayo Babalola, the GOFGEM Team under the auspices of the current Covenant
Holder, Evangelist Peter Kolajo, took off from Osogbo early Saturday
morning 30th April, 2022 and arrived at Iloffa later in the day. The
GOFGEM Team was welcomed upon arrival at Iloffa town by the Heir to the
late CAC General Evangelist, important dignitaries from the clergy, the
traditional institution, and other people from the neighborhood.
From
Iloffa, the convoy proceeded to Odo-Owa enroute Kajola town (all in Oke
Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State) as Evangelist Kolajo mounted
the truck, preaching the message of salvation to passersby and blessing
them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
This
Jubilation March continued until the GOFGEM Rally Train arrived at
Odo-Owa. It traversed through the Saint Joseph Ayo Babalola Apostolic
Church, the Owa Oloota Palace till it reached the ancient house of the
parents of Apostle Ayo Babalola at Ikotun Iwewe Compound where a brief
stop-over was made by Evangelist Peter Kolajo for prayers and prophetic
declarations inside the house. As soon as the stop-over ended, the
GOFGEM Rally Train moved on to Igboniyun in Ikotun-Ile, the exact birth
spot of Late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola which coincided as the venue of
the 63rd Remembrance activities.
Upon
arrival, the Obadofin of Ikotun-Ile HRM Oba David Afolayan Omope
Ilufemiloye 1, the eminent Chiefs, the Ministers of God, and the
indigenes were elated to see and welcome Evangelist Peter Kolajo, and
other GOFGEM Team members to the venue of the event. The event later
commenced properly with song ministrations by the GOFGEM Choir, and
later by Evangelist Peter Kolajo who held the whole congregation
spellbound with his sermon, prayers and prophetic declarations!!
To the God of Fire will be all the glory, honor and adoration.
THE NIGHT OF SUPERNATURAL ENCOUNTER AT THE APOSTLE AYO BABALOLA MAUSOLEUM, EFON ALAAYE, EKITI STATE.
Finally,
divine prayers for the Renewal, Restoration and Fulfillment of
individual destinies were offered unto the God of Fire to round up the
event by the dawn of Monday 25th April, 2022.

The Fear of the Lord
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instructions”
(Prov. 1:7)
In general, the fasting period popularly known as the Lenten or Ramadan period among the believers of the Christian and Islamic faiths respectively signifies the time of strict spiritual abstinence, and obedience to the precepts of God. Often believers tend to become closer to God in words and deeds showing remorse and repenting over past behavior and promising God to be of good behavior in their future actions. In short, they are acknowledging the absolute power of God over their lives, and the realization of this infinite power of the Lord to create, elevate, stagnate or even destroy creatures without any trail at His Will. The fear or dread of the Lord stems from this realization, and it is often at its peak during the Lenten period. Two pertinent questions arise: firstly, what exactly does it mean to fear the Lord; and secondly, does the fear of the Lord limited by time or by season?
Firstly, the Ten Commandments of the Lord are clearly stated in Exodus 20, and the two greatest of them all are as explained in Matt. 22: 37-40. These are: first, “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (vs. 37); and second, “Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself” (vs. 39). In a nutshell, the love of God and the love of neighbors are the necessary and sufficient indicators to show who fear the Lord. Obedience to these two precepts is fundamental to knowing people that fear the Lord. In other words, those that fear the Lord shall: honor their parents, not kill, not commit adultery, not steal, not bear false witness against neighbors, and shall neither covet neighbor’s wives nor properties. Anyone in whatever sphere of influence that departs from these precepts lacks the fear of the Lord, and he is only fit for perdition if he fails to repent of these heinous sins.
Importantly, in Deut. 28 the benefits of obedience and the costs of disobedience of the Lord’s precepts are clearly spelt out there: for the former, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God …” (vs. 1-14); and for the latter, “But it shall come to pass, if thou will not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses and woes shall come upon thee, and overtake thee …” (vs. 15-68). Jesus Christ also emphasized in Matt. 5:19 that, “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in in the Kingdom of Heaven”. Thus a pertinent question is: if all that profess to be Christians or believers fear the Lord in truth and in holiness, why are there differences in doctrines and narratives about our Lord Jesus Christ in the Church of God today?
Secondly, in 2022 the fasting periods of both the Christians and the Muslims coincided, what does this coincidence portends to the discerning minds? Obedience to the Lord’s precepts is evergreen or timeless for the true believers. It is not seasonal, and it is expected to be adhered to at all times whether during or after the fasting period. Previous fasting becomes senseless and of no benefits, if believers failed to imbibe and obey the true precepts of the Lord in their daily lives. Thus, the current coincidence is a divine sign that the Lord desires every true believer irrespective of religion, faith or denomination to turn a new leaf, abhor sins, avoid fake prophets and clerics, and follow Him in truth and holiness henceforth.
The Bible says “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free”. These nuggets of advice shall be helpful to all:
§ To the individual, in the confines of your heart ask your Creator to reveal Himself to you so that you can serve Him appropriately; and also ask the Lord thy God to reveal the secrets of your Pastor, Imam or Prophet, and your place of worship to be sure that you have not fallen into the hands of the fake ministers;
§ To the family, parents should allow their children to know their Creator, and serve Him with their whole heart, soul and mind. They should allow the Will of God to prevail in the lives of their children, and not forcing their personal wills upon them;
§ To the government, leaders and followers should fear God and realize that every position occupied is held in trust, and they shall be held accountable for their deeds or misdeeds at the appropriate time; and
§ To the society, be mindful of the neighbors around you by showing concern for their wellbeing, the peer group your children keep especially their personal habits and attitudes to life in general.
In conclusion, fasting and prayer are not sufficient conditions for eternal salvation; and even to overcome personal challenges in life. Rather the “Fear of the Lord” is the divine key to enjoy the protection, blessings, mercies and favor of the Lord thy God, and also have eternal life.
To the God of Fire will be all the glory, honor and adoration.
